oh and this is exactly HOW tiny the fwog is...

From this post and this one, a few people who have since seen 'the Fwog' have commented they didn't realise s/he was so small. So here's another pic. in adult hands. Small. And very cute!

Tomato Frog and more tomatoes

I went to bring in the tomatoes, to cut them off the plant and as I went in with teh scissors thought 'oooh, looks like a little pair of eyes in there... oh... it IS a little pair of eyes in there!'

update on the 'ID this little guy'

I was allowed to take some more photos this morning. The 'silverbeet frog' as he will probably become known was out again this morning. I managed a few pics of different angles. So far as I can see s/he has 4 (maybe five, in one pic?) fingers on the front feet and three on the back?

ID this frog please!

This little guy or gal was in amongst the silverbeet this morning when I was watering. He just hopped right out past where my eyes were looking. I was quite surprised as we often hear frogs at night but we've not seen one yet.
I'd really like to know the species, just out of curiosity. The last couple of years we've noticed frogs singing in the evening where we hadn't really before for a long time. We're either doing something right or they're fast running out of habitat and have to take what they can get... or both I suppose.
