Spiral Sprinkle biscuits + more kitchen goodies

In the kitchen today

2-3 dozen Spiral Swirl biscuits...
These were inspired by 'Spiral Cookies' on Crafty Desires blog. Since they're for market day for School, I couldn't use food colouring and decided to use the Nemar all natural 100s and 1000s. So this is my version.

It's the Women's Weekly beautiful biscuits cookbook choc chip cookie recipe without the choc chips, split the doungh in half and add 2tablespoons cocoa to one batch. Then follow the recipe for the Spiral Cookies.

In hindsight, I'd have done it the other way round with the white on the outer instead of starting with the chocolate, as that would make the 100s and 1000s stand out more (they're not as bright as the ones that contain all the colours).

bulk pasta sauce - enough for four dinners &
sauce for the tortillas for dinner tonight so five dinner's worth in total... (may as well while I was in there and cutting and baking!) Each is a slightly different recipe but similar enough to cut x4 of particular ingredients and just put both pots on the stove at the same time.

A dozen gingerbread

3 dozen mini pizzas

Two dozen ANZAC biscuits (Women's Weekly Beautiful Biscuits book)

and 2 dozen banana muffins (old CWA cookbook)

The ANZAC biscuit and gingerbread dough Brooke did up the night before. The rest I did today. Feels very satisfying and productive at the end of it!

I can't remember how long it takes, Niki

Those look delicious!

How are you storing the mini-pizzas? I'm thinking they might be really great for school lunchboxes!

Awww Niki you're too kind! Hey... did you bake your cake - that sounds YUMMY :)
Birdsnest was good I think but I didn't see the outfits come up as you had in your post... did you just pick them from the catalogue yourself?

Kristen Hi :) Yes they are good for lunchboxes. Storing I usually do in the fridge (can't remember if we froze some once - I think we did?). With 4 kids + 2 adults they don't last long :)
