A third photo... Just 5 days later...

Since the last post on the bathtub gardens, they're still maintaining impressive growth.
Here's the sequence photos with the last two in each set being only 5 days apart... I've put the dates underneath.

6th March. Day of planting, small seedlings

26th March barely three weeks later - flowers had been on for a few days already

31st March - just 5 days later...

if you use the 'terracotta' look pot and the far end of the first tub as your reference point, (I can't work out if I'm standing in the same spot to take the pic) and the cubbyhouse window, you can see exactly how much they have grown in such a short time. Add to that, on the tub nearest the pic, there is a tomato about the size of a hazelnut. All the capsi are flowering as well and there's things popping up all over the place. I know I walked out there today and was sure they grew an extra few cm since yesterday!



The watering system (the unexpected bonus) is still going well. I may, as has been suggested, apply some Seasol or something similar in week or so. See how we go. Anyway, bring on selling the cubby and putting in more bathtub vege gardens! *grin*
