Sewing for Birthdays... one being Brooke's friend and the other, Jake's friend. Plenty more birthdays to come this year~! Especially when you have a unique name, you know you're never going to find your name on the mug/toothbrush etc stands in the shops, as standard. So it's nice I think to have something with your name on it...

My youngest daughter is named Scarlett (born with black hair - I thought she would look just like Scarlett O'Hara!) Somehow she turned the tables on me, and now has long platinum blonde hair.
Anyway - she is resigned to the fact that unlike her brother and sister, her name never turns up on a keyring or nameplate.
