Redtail Ridge Organic Bulk Meat

I posted on EB a while back, asking about bulk meat orders and what people had and hadn't had success with. I checked out some websites, read a few different reviews and decided the only way to know, was to try it. So couple of weeks ago, after some good recommendations, we put in a bulk (certified) organic beef order from Redtail Ridge.

We have not been disappointed. A cheerful Robyn arrived promptly, in a professional looking and well presented 'cold' van with the meat in boxes - well packed, individually labelled and portioned into 2-3 person serves... and the proof was in the eating. ~The meat is beautiful~.

We don't eat meat every night so our share of the bulk order will last us for quite some time... we've been growing steadily unhappier with the supermarket beef sausages and mince and I can count on one hand how often we used to buy steak because the prices were so high at the supermarket ...

well this excellent organic beef is $15 a kilo straight when bought in a 1/4 or 1/2 a side - which covers everything in the quarter of beef from gravy beef to mince to sausages right through to scotch fillet, porterhouse, roasts and the rest. The mince is lovely, the sausages taste like sausages and the steaks are... mmmm! So at $15 a kilo for organic SouthWest beef I think it's a great product and we will definately be back! When you find a good company, it's good to share I think and help put their good product out there - support local and organic where you can too.

Thankyou Robyn and the crew at Redtail Ridge!

...
Now... to just find a way to purchase a block of land down that way...
